All this talk about natural oils what's the point? does it really matter what I put on my skin your wondering. Well the answer is yes, absolutely  yes.  Our skin is our biggest organ, like our heart or lungs.  We  would'nt  take petroleum jelly and apply it to our heart? of course not.  This is the same way we have to look at it when it comes to our skin. Remember everything we put on our skin goes directly into our bloodstream and overtime can cause tremendous damage.  Natural oils obsorbs easier and contains a wide amount of nutrients for our body. Such as omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids, fatty acids helps our skin to remain supply and well hyrated. Blackhead 101 and solution

What are blackheads? Blackheads are  a type of acne that's form  from build up of excessive sebum and dead skin cells that  clogs the pores.  You can tell the difference between a whitehead and a blackhead based on if the pores are closed.  Blackheads has a closed pore.   Typically depending on the shade of your skin with a blackhead the closed pore will have a black dot at the top of it.  Blackheads are commonly found on the face but they can appear on the back, shoulders and chest.

This can be quite annoying cause for one they are noticeable and two no one has time for that.  Rule of thumb be gentle with your face.  Over excessive washing or scrubbing of the skin can lead to irritation and in some instance make the blackheads worst.  Look  for products that are natural and geared towards that specific issue.  Lemons are and ideal remedy for blackheads,  the citrus in lemons helps break up and dissolve the blackheads and provide a great source of vitamin C to the skin.  Now  be mindful of your skin sensitivity,  if you are going to apply a freshly cut lemon to your face, test it in a small area first to see if your skin can tolerate the acidity of the lemon. Recently I recieved a call from a gentleman looking for information regarding relief for pain. I gladly suggested our pain away healing balm as this product has been helping alot of recent customers with pain issues. The gentleman still wanted to know more, what foods he can eat to help him with his arthritis pain. I suggest the few I knew off hand and told him I will get back to him with a list. At first I taught this was going to be a daunting task and fitting it in my schedule was certainly going to be hectic. Always up for a challenge I gave it a shot, called my local nutritionist did some research and found some easy cost effective food that aids in the relief of arthritis.

FISH- contains omega 3,6 and 9 fatty acids these are the good fats for your body. Which helps with inflammation. Best fish to eat for this are salmon, herring, mackerel and tuna.

BERRIES- eat your berries, berries are found to have a component call anthocyanins which reduces inflammation. list includes strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries.

CITRUS FRUITS- contains tons of vitamic C, so start drinking some OJ, finds ways to include lemons and grapefruit in your diet. A great way to include lemon in your diet is adding it to your drinking water.

POTATOES- vitamic C in potatoes acts as an antioxidant helping to reduce cell damage. According to the 2011 journal of nurtrition suggested that potatoes help inflammation associated with arthritis.

ASPARAGUS-the iron in asparagus helps maintain the strength and elasticity of joints and bones.

Leading cause of thinning edges

Thinning edges is a break down of the hair along the edges of the head. In some cases the hair is completely pulled out of the scalp, this is where you notice the white bud at the end of the hair. Once this process starts if you are not mindful and take action it can result in alopecia which is when the hair follicule has been pulled out so many times that hair will no longer grow it that area.

Cause and effect

The leading cause of thinning of the edges are hair styles that has too much strain on the edges of the hair. For example:

Braids- when getting your hair braided be mindful of how tight the egdes are being pulled, have the person doing your hair not pull the sides as much.

Ponytails- Constantly having the hair pulled back into a ponytail.

Wearing a wig or weave constantly where your own hair is not being able to relax, the constant friction of the rubbing of the wig along your edges cause the hair to become thin.
